STAR P FARMS, your “one stop beef herd”, is owned and operated by Blaine and Rayleen Possberg (nee Bender). Along with our daughter Katherine, and sons Carter and Chase we have been producing top bulls and females since 2001 and look forward to continuing that winning tradition. The farm itself goes back 3 generations to when Blaine’s grandfather emigrated from Germany in 1924 with nothing but hope in the future and a dream of a better life. Today we see that dream every spring when our Shorthorn calves start hitting the ground. This year, 2012, we are seeing the future come alive again while calving 95 purebred and a few cross-bred cows.
